Walking in, the moss comes first—soft underfoot, tucked beside stone patios and the steady rush of water. Sunlight scatters through old trees, smoke curls from fire pits, and the day seems to spool out slow and unhurried.

What to Expect:

🌲 Forest ceremony sites with hand-laid bluestone and a private waterfall
🔥 Spacious wood-and-stone reception pavilion, all-weather and open to the sounds of the creek
🍽 Fresh, local food cooked onsite—vegan options too—served family-style or buffet
🪵 Multiple fire pits, stargazing patios, and mossy trails woven across the property
🛏 Onsite newlywed suite plus flexible green rooms for getting ready

Important Information:

âś” By-appointment venue tours and tastings, booking required for all events
âś” Wheelchair accessible event spaces, restrooms, and parking with golf cart shuttles
âś” LGBTQ+ friendly, women-owned family business, familiar with multi-day and multicultural gatherings
âś” Best for events up to roughly 120, micro-weddings welcome; all catering in-house

Haley's Pick 🍽️

You probably know her as @milehighandhungry. Each week, Haley shares the one place she’s obsessed with right now. From hidden gems to hot new openings, if she picks it, it’s worth the hype.

Haley's Review of Riot BBQ
Riot BBQ on South Delaware feels like a backyard cookout run by a Top Chef, because it is. Chef Manny Barella and pitmaster Patrick Klaiber have teamed up to blend Monterrey flavors with Texas-style smoke, and the results are seriously craveable.

The brisket steals the show: tender, deeply smoky, and finished with Barella’s bold spice rub. Get it solo or wrapped in buttery Raquelita tortillas. The pulled pork brings heat with ancho, guajillo, and morita chiles, and the al pastor ribs are sticky, sweet, and slightly charred in all the right ways.

Even the sides are insanely good! Think crunchy pepita-macha slaw and banana pudding served in a jar that tastes just like childhood (but better). Every bite feels intentional.

It’s barbecue with heart, history, and just the right amount of heat. Riot BBQ isn’t just a meal, it’s a moment worth lining up for.

Local Insights

🌄 Best light: The moss path glows greenest in late afternoon—photographers swear by golden hour here.

🍞 Morning treat: Ask about the herb cream cheese and bagel breakfast if you stay overnight—it's a post-wedding favorite.

🌧 Rain plan: The main pavilion is fully covered but open-air; the creek sounds even better when it rains.

🌙 Starwatching: Fire pits on the patio mean late-night s’mores and one of the clearest skies in the northern Catskills.
