Unpaved roads crawl beside streams and trailheads in Hardenburgh, tucked against the southwestern edge of the Catskill Park. Expect essentials only—hiking boots, fishing gear, and a cooler. No shops. The smallest crowd you’ll see is usually by the creek, rod in hand.
